Michael Kass, Project Manager
Standards and Conformance Testing Group
Michael Kass is a computer scientist at the
National Institute of Standards and Technology's Information Technology
Laboratory. As member of the Standards and Conformance Testing Group, he is
responsible for the development of software conformance test methods for
promoting quality development and accelerating implementations and use of
information technology. Mr Kass is currently developing conformance tests
for ebXML Messaging Services. Previously he developed a conformance
test suite for the Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML).
A 1984 graduate of the Ohio State
University Mr. Kass joined NIST as a software testing developer in
the Standards and Conformance Testing Division of the Information
Technology Laboratory and is currently working with the OASIS ebXML
Implementation, Interoperability and Conformance Committee to develop a
general testing framework and test suite for ebXML implementations.

Han Kim
Ngo is a computer scientist and guest researcher of ITL's
Software and Diagnostics and Conformance Testing Division (SDCT).
His accomplishments within SDCT include:
Additionally, as a software developer within NIST's
Electronics and Electrical Engineering Laboratory (EEEL), Ngo
mplemented the first version of the Trading Partner Web Portal.
Ngo graduated from Ecole Superieure d'Informatique et d'Applications
de Lorraine, France, with a computer
science engineer diploma, a French equivalent of a Master degree.

Len Gebase, Test Framework Developer
Standards and Conformance Testing Group
Len Gebase is a Computer Scientist at the
National Institute of
Standards and Technology currently working in the area of software
conformance testing. Presently, he is working on a tool to support ebXML
conformance testing.
Gebase's previous work has included development of a VRML parser and
testing tool, development of an X.500 prototype implementation, and
developing and testing data communications protocols. Gebase obtained his
bachelor's degree from Rutgers University in mathematics, and he holds a Master of Science
degree in computer science from Johns Hopkins University.
